“HARRIET”… leading “black men” into battle.
P.S.
Yeah… it was ok for them to show how Harriet’s sister was killed… but I caution you that adding this to the film was still nothing more than an attempt to paint the “black male” as “untrustworthy”… I know the film was written and directed by black people… but the producers are white… as a matter-of-fact the studio’s actually wanted to use [1] “Julia Roberts” as “Harriet”.
After all… wasn’t it the white folks who where the ones actually hunting down and killing as many black people as they could… literally by the 1,000’s !!! Sadly the film focused more on “one black man” who probably caused the death of 2 or 3 black people. Too bad.
P.P.S.
NO… I’m “not” trying to bring race into this… I don’t have to… the producers have already done that for us. However, this is “not” a black and white issue, and it has never been. If it wasn’t for a “SECRET SOCIETY” of white folks helping Black people… black people would still “all” be in chains (slavery only ended 150 years ago… I’m 66… that means I just barely missed that, only one life span separates me from having been born into slavery). Again, this is not about black & white, it is something deeper than that… I just wish I knew what it was… but I don’t, it’s a SECRET… and they’re keeping it that way!

When you’re in the military, when you’re in a BOAT… you don’t point your weapons “down”… you keep them pointed “up”… the reason is simple!
