Get back to those “Spice Teams”

With this meal I got close to AUTHENTIC CHINESE FRIED RICE… just like that which was being sold at a restaurant in Gary, Indiana on 25th & Broadway back in the 60’s & 70’s, and just like that 7th & Washington restaurant that I talked about in earlier posts (the “La Estraleda”) you could get killed at that 25th & Broadway location too, but people still came from miles around to get some of that food. Again, I’ve never found anything “Chinese” that even comes close to the taste of what was being sold there in Gary (and I have been searching for 30 years)… their “Shrimps & Fried Rice” was seriously good and “SPECIAL”. And guess what… I DISCOVERED THE SECRET TO HOW THEY DID THAT..! More later, as I see if I can duplicate it again, unfortunately (for you and for me) I did not write down exactly what I did to this meal..! But I will try it again later and post it. All I can do right now is give you this “HINT”… boil the rice with “Seafood Stock” instead of just plain water, that is one of the things I know that I did here. ✅
