Southern Fried Chicken & JAMAICAN VEGETABLES

I won’t cover frying chicken here… I cover that in greater detail later in other post, just know that you basically season & flower the chicken, then deep fry it at about 300º for about 20 minutes.
JAMAICAN VEGETABLES
Sauté cabbage, white onion, and green onion add Allspice, Cloves, Nutmeg, Thyme, Garlic, Cayenne Pepper, and Cinnamon. CONGRATULATIONS… you’re eating “JAMAICAN.” See “SPICE TEAMS“
The rice
The rice… in a pot, heat 2 Tbsp. oil, add crushed red pepper, and a clove of garlic (whole)… to hot oil to flavor oil, remove garlic… add one cup “uncooked” white rice, sauté rice until it is well coated with oil, add 1 cup “beef broth”, one cup water… simmer until rice is tender (about 10 minutes).
