The “Perfect” Martini *

The “Perfect” Martini:
True to it’s name “Perfect”, this Martini is good anytime you sip it… 3oz. Gin, 1/2 oz. Extra Dry Vermouth, 1/2 oz. Sweet (red) Vermouth… and it’s PERFECT..!
SHAKEN… and strained into a chilled glass… is the way to go with this Martini… it waters it down just enough to make it “pleasant.” You will absolutely LOVE this Martini..!
Rule-1
Never drink more than “TWO.”
A note about Olives:
Please DON’T forget the “Olives“… and there are rules with olives as-well — and one of those rules is: Only use an ODD number of Olives, and that goes for any drink. The RULE is: Use either 1,3, or 5 olives… but never an Even number of them. Superstition has it that an even number of Olives in a drink is BAD LUCK.
I actually believe that not breaking these simple rules is what kept Mr. Bond… alive!

The “French 75” *

The “French 75” Martini:
”French 75”… 3 oz. Gin, 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup, 1/2 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice… this Martini is SLICK… it is so good it actually taste harmless, but that’s exactly why you have to be careful with it… don’t burn down the kitchen, and ALWAYS follow Rule-1 with this martini as-well.
SHAKEN… and strained into a chilled glass, is also the way to go with this Martini as-well… the “French 57” is a “sweet” Martini… so, if you’re not careful… you can easily shoot way past Rule-1.
Rule No.1
Never do more than “TWO.”
