Pleasantly surprised

Sauté chicken pieces, remove chicken, deglaze pan with Coconut Milk (coconut “flakes” and 2% milk pictured), add Peanut Butter, hot sauce, yellow onion, Asparagus, ginger, Turmeric, Lime (lemon pictured), red bell pepper (green pictured), Thyme, Cilantro, crushed red pepper, white pepper, and smoked salt (liquid smoke pictured), return chicken to pan… let rest for 10 min. or so… serve over rice. This meal surprised me… it was good. It requires a sophisticated pallet (tongue)… meaning, when I first tasted it, it shocked me, never had anything like that before (I’m use to beans and ham hocks)… so I pulled back… but by the time I got half way through it I was finding that it was “wonderful”… I like it.

NOTE: Some of the items pictured where all I had at the time, so I substituted those items for what is originally intended… it still tasted do-able, GOT THIS RECIPE WHILE A CULINARY STUDENT… it’s good… ENJOY!
