Yep..! This is it!!!

Coat chicken with some of the 11 herbs & spices, let marinate in refrigerator for 5 hours. Remove from refrigerator and coat chicken in flower & left over spice mix combined, drench in milk with flower w/spices mixed in (to thicken the milk), re-dredge the coated chicken in “dry” flower and spice mix again, let it sit for about 10 or 15 minutes to dry (this helps the coating stick to the chicken better when cooking). DEEP fry @ 250º or 260º degrees for 18 to 20 minutes… take out of oil and let rest for 5 to 7 minutes… THIS IS IT!
Ingredients, Mix w/ 2 cups Flower:
- 2/3 tbsp. Salt
- 1/2 tbsp. Thyme
- 1/2 tbsp. Basil
- 1/3 tbsp. Oregano
- 1 tbsp. Celery Salt
- 1 tbsp. Black Pepper
- 3 tbsp. White Pepper
- 1 tbsp. Dried Mustard
- 4 tbsp. Paprica
- 1 tbsp. Ground Ginger
- 2 tbsp. Garlic Salt
NOTE:
I have cooked this dish several times, I have found that this may very well be the recipe to the GREAT 11 Herbs & Spices secret recipe… but I guarantee you that the “amounts” are wrong… but when you vary the amounts that are shown in this recipe… you can indeed get very close to that FAMOUS TASTE.
One example is… 4 tbsp. of Paprica is way too much. Also, the method of cooking this that I have listed here is my very own method (this works for me)… so go Experiment.
